Polytainers' investment in technology includes steps to guarantee the continuity of supply to customers. Processes and investments include the following:

Machinery

Molding and printing equipment utilized in our Kansas City and Toronto manufacturing facilities are identical, enabling Polytainers to ensure that back-up systems between plants are in place.

Facilities

Our Toronto and Kansas City manufacturing plants have been designed to guarantee the highest level of security to ensure continuity of supply to customers. Included are:

• Four-hour firewalls between areas for molding/forming, printing, warehousing, mold maintenance and office, minimizing threats to production.
• ESFR sprinklers specially designed for the storage of plastic materials.
• Molding machines fitted with low pressure/high heat sensors shutting machines down automatically.
• Electrical supply with looped feed from two different sources to ensure back-up power.
• Fully backed-up process dependent systems including compressed air, chillers, and transformers.
