Development Technology

Our Product Development Group is the inventive force in developing and researching container designs and materials. Following our Systems Approach they:

• Consider the marketing and sales objectives of customers when developing any new container or lid.
• Consider the needs of the customer's manufacturing group and design products to function on existing or proposed filling systems at the highest level of efficiency.

The Product Development Group utilizes Micro CADAM^TM and Solidworks^TM software to design all containers and lids. Part drawings produced on CAD are electronically exported to mold makers for developing mold core and cavity designs.

In conjunction with CAD software, Polytainers also uses 3-D rendering software at the package concept stage allowing customers to choose design options and make a multitude of alterations. We can even manipulate specific parameters so the customer can see results immediately.
