Best in Class: Packaging Innovation Design (Technical)
Our split cup was recognized for its cutting edge design features and the collaboration that went into this project. The concept was to create a high-clarity, dual compartment cup, focusing on user experience, aesthetics, and structural integrity. After many design iterations and extensive testing, the fully recyclable cup was successfully launched into the market in 2024.

Award of Distinction: Sustainable Packaging Design (Carbon Reduction)
The goal of this project was to design a cup that balances sustainability and performance. To achieve this, we minimized headspace and material waste. We also optimized the stack height to improve logistics, thereby lowering the carbon footprint of the packaging. The final design, made from polypropylene (PP) with an IML PP label, is widely recyclable, demonstrating a commitment to the circular economy.

Best In-Mold Decorated Package
Our dual compartment Sidekick container offers efficiency on shelf while delivering tangible sustainability results. The Sidekick was Made2RecycleTM being designed with thinner walls which reduces the amount of plastic used during the manufacturing process. Both the container and IML label are made with polypropylene resin resulting in a 100% recyclable package; therefore the consumer does not need to separate materials before recycling.

Plastics Innovator Award
Our Ultimate (U) Series of in-mold labelled (IML) plastic containers have the highest top-load per gram of resin in the North American marketplace. “The use of IML allows customers to present their brands with premium graphics,” CPIA said. “The result is a premium container, with industry-leading material utilization reducing resin consumption by approximately 20 per cent.”
